👋 Welcome to Fubo! This guide walks you through downloading, signing in, and starting to watch Fubo on your mobile device or tablet.

📲 Set Up & Install Fubo

On iPhone or iPad 

To get started:

1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Tap Search and enter Fubo.
3. Select the Fubo app from the results.
4. Tap Get, then authenticate to download.
5. Once installed, tap Open to launch the app.

On Android Phones or Tablets 

To get started:

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap the Search bar and enter Fubo.
3. Select the Fubo app.
4. Tap Install.
5. When installation is complete, tap Open to launch the app.

🔑 Sign In to Fubo

You can sign in using your email and password:

1. Open the Fubo app.
2. Tap Sign In.
3. Enter your Fubo email address and password.
4. Tap Sign In to start watching.

💡 Tip: If you forgot your password, select Forgot Password? to reset it.

🏠 Browsing the Fubo Home Screen

Once signed in, you’ll land on the Home screen. Here’s what you’ll find:

• Live TV for You: Take a look at what's on, even previewing the program live from your Home Screen.
• Featured on Fubo: Discover programming tailored to you, and stay on top of your favorite teams and leagues by adding them to your favorites. For more details on how to favorite teams, head over to Sports Features.
• Guide: Browse live and upcoming programs across your channels.
• Sports, Shows, Movies: Explore content by category or genre.
• My Stuff: Access your favorites, recordings, and recently watched programs.

🎥 Watching Live & On-Demand

Enjoy content anytime, anywhere:

• Live TV: Open the Guide and tap a program that’s currently airing.
• On-Demand: Watch shows, movies, and past episodes whenever you want.
• Restart / Lookback: Restart a program or watch from earlier in the day (where available).

💡 Pro Tip: Rotate your device to landscape mode for a bigger viewing experience.

⏯️ Player Controls on Mobile

While watching, tap the screen to access controls:

• Play / Pause
• Rewind / Fast Forward (where available)
• Closed Captions
• Audio Settings

Swipe down or tap Back to exit the video player.

🔽 Filters & Personalization

Customize how you browse:

• Apply filters in the Guide to browse by genre like Live Sports, Trending, or Movies.
• Follow your favorite teams or leagues so games are easier to find.
• Set recordings in advance so you never miss a moment.

☁️ Manage Your Recordings

Your DVR goes where you go:

• Record live shows or events from the Guide or program page.
• Manage recordings under My Stuff > Recordings.
• Delete recordings you no longer need to free up space.

🏈 Sports Features

For sports fans on the go:

• Live stats & scores: View in-game updates while watching.
• Favorite Teams & Leagues: Set your favorite teams/leagues to record so you’ll never miss an event.
  • You can add teams & leagues to your Favorites at any time by going to Sports > Favorites > Pick my favorites.

• Team News:  Once you've got your teams favorited, set up Team News to stay caught up on your favorite Sports News episodes and other team news.

Note: Some events may be unavailable due to regional restrictions.

🔄 App Updates

Keeping your app updated ensures the best performance.

On iOS:

1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your profile icon.
3. Scroll to Available Updates.
4. Tap Update next to Fubo (if available).

On Android:

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap your profile icon.
3. Select Manage apps & device.
4. Tap Update next to Fubo (if available).

💡 Pro Tip: Set apps to update automatically within your device settings.

❌ Exit or Close the App

• Simply swipe up or use your device’s navigation controls to close the app.
• Playback will stop automatically when the app is closed.

💬 Troubleshooting

If something’s not working as expected:

• App won’t load: Restart your device and check your internet connection.
• Playback issues: Close and reopen the app, or reinstall if needed.
• Sign-in problems: Reset your password and try again.

👤 Account & Billing

At https://www.fubo.tv/account you can do any of the following:

• Update payment methods
• Change your plan
• Cancel or resubscribe
• View billing history

If you originally subscribed to Fubo through Roku, any account changes must be made directly through your Roku account. See: How do I change my Roku billed Fubo subscription?
