We’re updating our TV, mobile, and web apps to enhance the Fubo streaming experience.
We recently released this updated experience to users on Android TV and Amazon Fire TV, and a small portion of Roku devices. We plan on releasing this update to additional devices and users in the coming weeks.
If you’re new to Fubo and have noticed that the app on your device doesn’t look the same as other in-app images you may have seen, it’s because you’ve installed our updated experience.
If you’re a current Fubo subscriber and noticed that your app looks different, it’s because you’ve received the updated experience as a part of regular app updates.
We’ll have additional information regarding the updated look and feel of Fubo and how it differs from the previous experience very soon!
Can I see the updated experience?
Absolutely. Select an option below to see sample images of the updated Fubo experience.
These images are intended as a preview only; the location and function of some features and abilities may change as additional updates are released.
The first change you’ll notice with the updated Fubo experience is that the main navigation has moved from the top of the screen to the left side.
When highlighted, the navigation icons will expand to a full view.
You can get back to the main navigation at any point by pressing the Back button on your device remote.
Note that as additional updates are released, the order of items presented in the main navigation may change.
In addition to an updated look and feel to your channel guide, you'll notice that filters have moved to the top of your screen.
Select Today and choose a date to view upcoming programming.
Finally, select a channel icon to play that channel, add or remove it from your favorites, or view channel details, including an individual schedule and available on-demand content.
Note that the View Channel Details option replaces the Networks screen.
Select a specific program from the guide to watch, record, or view specific program details. For live programming you're recording or where the Start Over option is available, you can select to either play programming live or from the start.
In addition to updates to the look and feel of your My Stuff page, you'll notice a few changes:
First, when selecting My Stuff from the main navigation, you'll see a second menu with three options:
- Recordings: Everything you've recorded on Cloud DVR
- Watchlist: Shows or movies you've added to your favorites
- Continue Watching: Recorded or on-demand programming you started but didn't finish
At the top of your Recordings screen, use the filters to view All recordings, Sports, Shows, or Movies.
Find your available DVR space along the right side of the screen. Select View Scheduled to see and manage any upcoming recordings you've set up.
Finally, select an individual recording or folder to watch or manage the recording(s).
With the updated Fubo experience, there are a few changes to the controls on your device remote:
- Press OK/Enter to pause or resume programming
- If your remote has a dedicated play/pause button, this will have the same function
- Press Up to access your player controls
- Press Left or Right to scrub (fast-forward/rewind) programming
- If your remote has dedicated fast-forward or rewind buttons, they will have the same function
- Press Down to access additional options:
- Live TV: Explore additional channels in your Fubo subscription
- Info: View details for the program you’re watching
- Subtitles: Enable or disable captions
- Settings: Change the audio language (if available), change streaming quality, and more
- If your device remote has dedicated channel up/down buttons, you can use these to change channels
With the updated Fubo experience, there are a few changes to how you manage your recordings.
To manage your recordings, select My Stuff from the main navigation, then choose Recordings.
Manage Team or Series Recordings
To manage team or series recordings, select the folder from your Recordings screen.
If you've already watched all of the recordings or otherwise don't want to keep any of the current recordings in the folder, select Delete All Episodes/Games.
Note that deleting all available episodes or games will not stop recording the team or series. See the next step for how to accomplish this.
To stop recording the team or series, or change which episodes/games you're recording, select Recording Options.
To delete an individual recording from a team or series folder, select the recording, then choose Recording Options.
Finally, select Delete Episode/Game.
Manage an Individual Recording
To manage an individual movie, show, or game you've recorded, select it from your Recordings screen.
From here, you can either play, resume or start your recording over from the beginning, delete it, or view additional details about the recording.

For Amazon Fire TV and Roku users, the updated app will be rolled out to all users over the coming weeks.
