If you are experiencing issues with the Fubo app on your Apple TV, perform a test of your internet speed. We recommend having at least 20Mbps of internet speed to ensure a clear and consistent stream.
If your speed test results in 20Mbps or more, here are some general troubleshooting steps that could help resolve streaming issues:
Force quit the app
- From the home page, double-tap the TV button
- Swipe up the Fubo app to close
Uninstall/Reinstall the app
- Highlight the app
- Hold down the touch surface of the remote until the app starts to wiggle
- Press the Play/Pause button
- Select "Delete"
- Install the Fubo app from the App Store again
Turn off your device for at least 10 seconds
- Press and hold the TV button
- Select Power Off
- After 10 seconds (or longer), press the Menu button to power on your Apple TV
Restart your internet router
Check your router's instructions for any specific restart steps. Generally, most routers can be restarted with the following steps:
- Unplug your router from the electrical outlet
- Wait 30-60 seconds to clear memory and reset the router's connection
- Plug the router back in
- Wait for your router to reboot
- Test your connection
If your modem and router are separate, restart the modem first using the same steps, then restart your router.
Restart your Apple TV
- Exit the Fubo app to the Apple TV Home screen
- Select Settings
- Then choose System > Restart
If you are using a WiFi connection, we strongly recommend connecting your device directly to your router with an Ethernet cable (if available).
