Closed captions are available on all devices compatible with fuboTV assuming the show has captions available.
To turn captions on or off on, choose your device and follow the steps below. Note that for some devices, captions will need to be enabled on your device, and not through the fuboTV app.
- While watching video, press the UP or DOWN on your remote to open the player controls.
- Go to the right to highlight the MORE option, and press the center/select button.
- Select SETTINGS.
- To turn captions ON, press the center/select button on ENG or CC1 for English captions, ESP or CC2 for Spanish captions, or OFF to turn captions OFF.
- If captions are not available on the current program this option will not be visible.
- While watching video in landscape view, tap on the screen to display the on-screen menu.
- Tap the gear icon.
- Tap Subtitles & Captions.
- If captions are not available on the current program this option will not be visible.
- To turn captions ON, tap cc:English or cc:Spanish, or to turn captions OFF tap Off
- While watching video, press the UP or DOWN on your remote to open the player controls.
- Go to the right to highlight the MORE option, and press the center/select button.
- Select SETTINGS.
- To turn captions ON, press the center/select button on ENG or CC1 for English captions, ESP or CC2 for Spanish captions, or OFF to turn captions OFF.
- If captions are not available on the current program this option will not be visible.
- While watching video, swipe down on the touchpad of your Apple TV remote to bring up INFO & SETTINGS.
- Swipe right to highlight Subtitles & Audio.
- To turn captions ON, highlight and select ENGLISH CC or SPANISH CC, or to turn captions OFF, highlight and select OFF.
- While watching video, click on the gear icon in the bottom right.
- To turn captions ON, click English or Spanish, or to turn captions OFF, click Off.
- If you do not see options for Captions, the current program does not have captions.
- While watching video in landscape view, tap on the screen to display the on-screen menu.
- Tap the gear icon.
- To turn captions ON, tap ENGLISH CC or SPANISH CC, or to turn captions OFF, tap OFF.
- Press the Home button on the remote
- Select the Settings icon
- Select Accessibility
- Next, select Closed Captions
- Choose On to enable Closed Captions
- While watching video press Up to bring up the player controls.
- Highlight and select the MORE option.
- Select Audio & Subtitles.
- To turn captions ON, select ENG or SPA, select INSTANT REPLAY for captions to only appear after pressing the skip back button on your remote, or to turn captions OFF, select OFF.
- Press the CC button on the remote.
- Select Captions then close the menu.
If your remote does not have a CC button, try the below steps:
- Press and hold the Mute button on your remote to display Accessibility Shortcuts
- If your remote does not have a mute button, press and hold the Volume button to find Accessibility Shortcuts
- Scroll down and select Caption to toggle on or off
Note: Specific steps may vary based on model. If the above steps do not allow you to find captioning, access the TV settings to find closed caption options or consult your owner's manual.
On most Vizio TVs, press the CC button on your remote to enable/disable closed captions. If your remote doesn't have a CC button:
- Press Menu on your remote
- Highlight Closed Captions and press OK
- Use the left and right arrow keys to change the settings to On or Off
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Profile & system > Settings.
- Select Ease of Access > Closed captioning.
- On this screen, you can select: Closed captioning off
