Overview
If you’re watching Fubo on a mobile device (phone or tablet) and want to use other apps but stay tuned in to what you’re watching, use Picture-In-Picture (PiP) to make sure you don’t miss a moment while you’re completing other tasks.

How to Use PiP
- Start watching a video in Fubo
- Exit the Fubo app (without fully closing it) while your video is playing
- Depending on your device, do this by swiping up from the bottom of the screen while holding your finger down, or by pressing the home button on your device
- Your video will shrink to a PiP window on your device home screen
- Touch and drag the PiP window to move it and access other apps as needed
How to Exit PiP
- To exit PiP, tap anywhere on the mini-player video to access your player controls:
Return to Fubo
- Tap the Expand icon to return to the Fubo app
Exit Video
- Tap the X to close your video
- Note that the Fubo app will still be open in the background once you’ve exited video; use your device’s app manager to fully close the app
Additional Questions
Can I change channels while watching in PiP?
- You’ll need to return to the Fubo app in order to change channels
- Follow the instructions for Return to Fubo above to get back to the Fubo app
What Player Controls can I use while watching in PiP?
- Play and Pause
- Exit video
- Expand (return to Fubo)
- Note that while they may be visible on-screen, Rewind and Fast-Forward are not currently available while watching in PiP
