We're constantly making improvements to the Fubo app. In order to get the most from Fubo it's important to keep your app updated to ensure you have access to all your favorite features and ensure a smooth streaming experience.
Choose your device from the list below to view step-by-step instructions to update the Fubo app.
- Select Apps from the Fire TV home screen.
- Scroll to highlight the Fubo app.
- If an update is available, select the Update option. If no update is available there will not be an Update option.
- Select Update App Now on the pop-up
- Select My Apps from the Google Play Store
- Locate and select the Fubo app.
- If an update is available, select the Update button. If no update is available there will be an Open button instead.
- Go to the Settings menu by selecting the gear icon from the Android TV home screen.
- Select Apps
- Locate and select the Fubo app.
- If an update is available select the Update option. If no update is available there will not be an Update option.
- Open the App Store from the Apple TV home screen.
- Go to the Purchased section and select the Fubo app.
- If an update is available, click Update. If no update is available there will only be an option to Open the app.
Google Chrome

- Launch Chrome
- Click More (three vertical dots) in the top right
- Click Update Google Chrome
- Note: If this button isn’t available, you’re using the most recent version
- Click Relaunch
Microsoft Edge
- Launch Microsoft Edge
- Click the Menu button (three horizontal dots) in the top right
- Hover over Help and Feedback
- Click About Microsoft Edge
- If an update is available, it will be installed automatically
- Click Restart
Mozilla Firefox
Firefox should update automatically. If it doesn’t, follow the steps below:
- Launch Firefox
- Click the Menu button (three vertical lines) in the top right
- Click Options
- Scroll down to Firefox Updates
- Click Check for Updates
Safari
- Click the Apple icon in the top left corner
- Click App Store
- Click Update All to install all available updates on your Mac
- To only update Safari, click More, then click the update button next to Safari
For Chromecast devices, update the Fubo app on the device you use to cast.
- Open the App Store
- Select the Updates tab
- If an update is available select the Fubo app. If no update is available, Fubo will not be listed.
- Select Update to begin the update.
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Choose Settings in the top right
- Select All Settings in the bottom right
- Choose General on the left
- Scroll down and select About this TV
- Make sure Allow automatic updates is checked, then select Check for updates
- Select Settings from the Roku home screen.
- Select System.
- Select System Update.
- Select Check Now, if an update is available your Roku will now download and install it.
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Navigate to Apps
- Select Settings
- Select Auto Update
- Whenever an update is available for Fubo on your Samsung Smart TV, it will update automatically
Both the firmware for your Vizo SmartCast TV and the Fubo app are updated automatically. If you believe you aren't running the latest firmware on your TV, visit Vizio Support and search your model number for more information.
- From the XBOX home screen, select Store
- Next, open Apps and search the app store for Fubo
- Select the Fubo app, then See in XBOX Store
- If an update is available, you'll see an Update icon
- Select Update to update Fubo
