Overview
On occasion, a "Thank You for Watching" may be displayed on select MLB.TV games. This can occur for a few reasons, and this article will help you identify them.
Reasons this can happen:
📺 The live game broadcast has ended
- MLB.tv uses a 5-hour broadcast window to account for delays/extra innings; most MLB games finish in just over half of that time
- If you're tuning in late:
- Use the Play from Beginning option instead of Play Live
- Scroll backward through the progress bar
💡Pro Tip: Disable live score updates in the Fubo app to avoid spoilers
- To disable live scores, take a look here: Can I Disable Live Scores in the Fubo App?
⛈️ The Game is Delayed or Postponed
- You may see this message if a game is delayed/postponed due to weather
-
With live score updates enabled in the Fubo app:
- Delayed games will still show updated scores
- Postponed games will display the pregame ("PRE") status
- For information on delayed/postponed games, visit the MLB website
🙅 Incorrect Guide Data
- Sometimes the guide may list a game on MLB.TV when it’s actually a national broadcast
- MLB.tv only broadcasts out-of-market, non-nationally-televised games
- To find other broadcasts, visit your Guide or Sports pages, or use Search
