👋 Welcome to Fubo! With Chromecast, you can stream Fubo from your phone, tablet, or computer directly to your TV. This guide shows you how from start to finish.

You’ll need:
- A Chromecast device or Chromecast-enabled TV
- A supported mobile device or web browser (or a Chromecast with Google TV remote)
- Both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network
Cast from a Mobile Device (iOS & Android)
To get started:
- Open the Fubo app on your phone or tablet.
- Sign in to your Fubo account.
- Tap the Cast icon 📺 (top-right corner).
- Select your Chromecast or TV from the list.
- Choose a program to start casting to your TV.
Your TV will now play the content while your device acts as the remote.
Cast from a Web Browser (Chrome)
To cast from your computer:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Go to 👉 https://www.fubo.tv and sign in with your Email and Password.
- Start playing a program.
- Click the Cast icon in the video player or browser menu.
- Select your Chromecast device.
Your computer mouse will allow you to navigate player controls.
Using the Chromecast with Google TV Remote
If you have a Chromecast with Google TV, you can watch Fubo directly on your TV using the included remote — no casting required.
To get started:
- From your Google TV home screen, open the Apps section.
- Search for Fubo.
- Select Install.
- Open the Fubo app and sign in.
You can sign in with your Fubo email and password or sign in with code.
💡 Quick Tips
- Codes expire in 5 minutes ⏰.
- Refresh the page for a new code if needed.
- Don’t have a Fubo account? Create one here.
- Forgot your password? Reset it here.
- Still not working? Try Sign In with Email instead.
💡 Pro Tip: Installing the app provides a more traditional TV viewing experience and does not require your phone or computer.
ℹ️ Basic Chromecast Controls
Using your Chromecast with Google TV remote you can:
- Play / Pause
- Rewind / Fast Forward (where available)
- Change volume
- Stop casting
💡 Pro Tip: Closing the app or browser will stop casting.
🔍 Search
Looking for something specific?

Search: Use the on-screen keyboard to search by title, team, or network.
- Voice Search: The Chromecast with Google TV remote has a voice control button. Hold it down and say what you’re looking for.
💡 Pro Tip: Searching by network name (like ESPN or MTV) shows what’s currently airing live on that channel.
🎥 Watching Live & On-Demand

Live TV: Go to the Guide and select what’s currently airing.

On-Demand: Access shows, movies, and past episodes anytime.
- Restart/Lookback: Missed the beginning? Restart the program or watch from earlier in the day (where available).
💡 Pro Tip: While watching live, press and hold the back button on your remote to return to the previous channel.
🔽 Filters & Personalization
Use filters to customize your experience.
Apply filters in the Guide to browse by genre—like Live Sports, Trending, or Just Added.
Popular filters on Fubo:

Sports: The Sports filter allows you to set up for every approaching season.
- Choose your sports, league and team all within the Sports page.
- Set sporting events to record ahead of time.
- Follow your favorite team so that you never miss a game.

Movies: Browse through movie categories like:
- Trending Now
- Edge-of-your-seat Thrillers
- For the Kids

Favorites:
- Highlight any channel in the Guide and select Add to Favorites.
- Your favorites appear at the top of the Guide.
- To rearrange them, select Reorder Favorites and move them into your preferred order.

☁️ Manage Your Recordings
Never miss a moment:
- Record live shows or events from the Guide or program page. Check out How can I record a program?
- Access, delete or manage your recordings under My Stuff > Recordings.
🏈 Sports Features
Sports fans, you’re in for a treat:

Live stats and scores: Check in-game updates right on-screen. To enable or disable live scores, check out Can I disable live scores in the Fubo app?
- Blackout info: Certain sporting events may be unavailable in your area due to regional restrictions. Learn more in What does it mean if a program is blacked out?
🔄 App Updates
Keep your Fubo app up to date for the best performance.
To update:
- From the home screen, go to Apps.
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Select your profile icon.
- Choose Manage apps & games.
- Select Updates available.
If there is an update available, you will be prompted to install it.
💡Pro Tip: Apps will auto-update while connected to the Wi-Fi and powered on.
🔄 Stop Casting
To stop streaming:
- Tap the Cast icon and select Disconnect, or
- Close the Fubo app or browser tab
💬 Troubleshooting
If casting isn’t working:
- Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
- Restart your Chromecast and casting device
- Make sure the Fubo app or Chrome browser is up to date

- Update payment methods
- Change your plan
- Cancel or resubscribe
- View billing history
